Although it's not an official tie-in to the critically acclaimed Tom Hanks movie, Apollo XIII: A Week to Remember is a solid piece of work in its own right, combining audio and video clips, newspaper stories, and animation to present a meticulously detailed overview of a mission gone awry. As with the movie, though, its impact is somewhat dissipated by knowing how everything turns out — a situation magnified on this disc by an easy-to-use index that lets you skip right to the end at the very beginning.
