THE ADVENTURES OF BATMAN & ROBIN (Sega, for Genesis, $59.95) Like a remora clinging to the underbelly of a 20-ton whale, this kick-and-punch bruiser picks up considerable mileage from the box-office-busting success of Batman Forever-though, since it's not a tie-in, unsuspecting players may be confused by the appearance of the Joker, the Mad Hatter, and Scarecrow. Batman & Robin does, however, have one thing in common with the movie: The premise is nothing new, but the producers throw in enough state-of-the-art explosions, sound effects, and jujitsu posturing that sometimes you actually come close to having fun.
