Every modern misfortune apparently deserves a comedy: Bye Bye Love is the one for divorced dads. Womanizer Matthew Modine, bitter sad-sack Randy Quaid, and earnest emoter Paul Reiser play pals all caught in the round-robin of handoffs and dustups with kids and exes; they're also caught in a film that is a cross between a greeting card, a McDonald's commercial, and a Raffi video. But the quick-moving vignettes won't make you yawn, and the occasional dry joke sops up some excess sentiment. The sight of three men sharing and caring on the big screen may have horrified audiences; luckily, seen on TV, the danger is small.
