Like any good kickboxing film, Fists of Iron takes place in a world where everyone gets into carefully choreographed fights over minor disputes. And like most kickboxing films, Fists of Iron takes place in a world where rich people hold illegal kickboxing matches on their palatial estates. But this standard straight-to-tape revenge yarn adds a nice level of tension by introducing a hero (Michael Worth) who continually gets the hell beaten out of him. Sam Jones gives the film an appealing twist as the washed-up trainer who teaches the guy how to keep his face intact.
