THE USUAL SUSPECTS (R) Gabriel Byrne, Kevin Spacey, Stephen Baldwin, Kevin Pollak, and Benicio Del Toro star in Bryan Singer's showily complex crime drama as felons who meet in a holding cell and decide to do some business together. Their common bond is their fear of a vicious criminal called Keyser Soze, whose identity remains a mystery. When you catch on, you may feel elated -- or soured -- by the contortions of suspended disbelief required to sustain this caffeinated trip to Tarantinoville. B
