Music Review: 'Dangerous Minds Soundtrack' (1995)

EW's GRADE
B+

Details Lead Performances: Coolio, Aaron Hall, Various Artists and Wendy & Lisa; Genres: Hip-Hop/Rap, R&B, Soundtracks

After a strong start with Coolio's neo-gothic morality tale, ''Gangsta's Paradise,'' the beats just keep getting better. There's Aaron Hall's sensual up-tempo ballad ''Curiosity'' and Craig Mack's charmingly crusty cameo on Sista's ''It's Alright.'' Considering that the film utterly lacks street cred, the soundtrack is surprisingly legit. B+
