HERE WE GO AGAIN: MY LIFE IN TELEVISION Betty White Some people believe that everyone has a book in her. Betty White seems to believe she has four in her. In case Leading Lady, Pet Love, and Betty White: In Person weren't enough, her latest literary foray offers anecdotes about her years on The Mary Tyler Moore Show and The Golden Girls, along with unreflective descriptions of her friends and husbands. The Prozac-happy prose could serve as an encyclopedia of clichés. Take White's description of the final episode of The Mary Tyler Moore Show: ''The atmosphere was so tangible you could almost see it in the air.... By showtime we had ourselves pretty well in hand, and actually it turned out to be a pretty funny show. We even made it into the final scene with flying colors....[then] everything went to hell in a handbasket.... It was a night to remember.'' The book ends with White signing up for a new ABC sitcom, Maybe This Time, with Marie Osmond (''I know what a dynamic trouper this girl is''). Egad — does that foretell a fifth installment on the Betty White bookshelf? D
