This summer, the defense team in the O.J. Simpson trial called on the services of forensic scientist Henry Lee, a blood-spatter expert. Maybe the makers of KISS OF DEATH (1995, FoxVideo) should have recruited a similar specialist.
When Jimmy Kilmartin (David Caruso) stands near a man shot point-blank by Little Junior (Nicolas Cage), the victim's blood sprays over Jimmy's face; it's visible when Little Junior drives him away from the murder site. But when Jimmy gets taken for another ride later that night, some of those drops of blood have moved around. Someone on the set definitely should have spotted this.
