A major label once again conspires with a major studio to get down with the alterna-kids. The selling point is ''J.A.R.,'' a serviceable non-album track from Green Day. But most impressive are two sprightly offerings from Ash (''Jack Names the Planets,'' ''Kung Fu'') and tunes from the Muffs, Smoking Popes, and Dance Hall Crashers. Oh, yeah, Weezer and Love Spit Love show up too.
