SNAKE CHARMER

Jason Brooks, 29, who plays Days of Our Lives' scheming snake Peter Blake, has a thing about clothes. Back before he hit the daytime big time, he and a male friend sold their own line of women's dresses at Venice Beach. ''We figured it's so wacky there that to get noticed we should wear the dresses,'' says the 6'2'', 185-lb. Colorado Springs native. ''Strangely enough, we still didn't get much attention.'' He did get some curious looks in February '94, when he married his longtime girlfriend, Corinne Olivo, on a whim. ''We flew to Vegas,'' he recalls, ''and didn't have time to get formal clothes, so she wore a white peignoir from Frederick's of Hollywood, and I wore black silk pajamas.'' His wardrobe may get the most notice when he appears (scantily clad) in the December Playgirl. Says Brooks: ''I definitely like to catch people off guard.''
