JACK-O Linnea Quigley, Ryan Latshaw (1995, Triboro, unrated, priced for rental) Those who like their horror movies with all the strings showing will love this entertaining disaster, dubbed Plan 9 From Out of State by its own cast and crew. Executive producer Fred Olen Ray and director Steve Latshaw go Ed Wood one better by incorporating old footage of two dead actors (John Carradine and Cameron Mitchell) in a new production, and nitpickers will feast on details like an ersatz Bible that contains a preface. While the story of a demon who preys on a small town may be ripped off from the more atmospheric Pumpkinhead, Jack-O improves upon that film by delivering the sight of a grown man running around with a giant gourd over his head. B
