DEATHS Staffers at Twentieth Century Fox's Los Angeles office are still reeling from the shock of a West L.A. automobile accident that took the life of one of its rising stars, director of development Lewis Cherot, 26, on Oct. 10. According to published reports, another Fox executive, VP Dylan Sellers, 36, was driving at the time of the accident and could face charges of vehicular manslaughter. No charges have been filed as yet, and Sellers is free on bail pending an investigation. The two had attended an industry screening of Strange Days earlier that evening. Cherot worked on Strange Days and two highly anticipated upcoming movies, Down Periscope and Broken Arrow. Fox released a statement saying that the studio was "saddened by this tragic loss," but offered no further comment.
