Details Lead Performance: Sarah McLachlan; Genre: Rock

This champion emoter gets to do what comes naturally: ooze sincerity. But ''I Will Remember You'', the centerpiece to the Brothers McMullen soundtrack, is long on ardor, short on wit. McLachlan would be more interesting if her emotional palette had half as many colors as her expressive voice. B-
