This is the video answer to a ripe old dilemma: He wants to watch basketball on the tube, while she fancies the sort of romantic comedy whose appeal rests on its predictability. Now they can have both with Forget Paris, actor-director-cowriter Billy Crystal's version of Woody Allen's stock-in-trade. Crystal plays an NBA ref (amid Charles Barkley, Patrick Ewing, et al., playing themselves) who falls in love with an American in Paris (Debra Winger); when their honeymoon is over, the negotiations are just beginning. Enlivened by a strong cast (including Joe Mantegna and Cathy Moriarty), what would otherwise be vin ordinaire turns out to have a rather nice bouquet. B
