The rapper Eazy-E, who succumbed to AIDS last March, was better known as a hustler, businessman, and gangsta-rap founder than as a first-rate rhymer. This retrospective drawn mostly from his spotty solo work, with a few tracks from N.W.A won't change that perception. But hits like the groundbreaking ''Boyz-N-the-Hood'' and the funky ''We Want Eazy'' are enjoyably raw (and music history to boot).
