Toadies ''Possum Kingdom'' (Interscope) Adding a new wrinkle to punk-pop's bid for world domination, this coed quartet takes a catchy, concise riff and weighs it down with heavy-metal trappings. True, these days your average rock hit doesn't feature a whammy-bar guitar solo or a corny seduction/ murder fantasy. But who said that's a bad thing? B-
