In the sci-fi-horror hybrid SPECIES (1995, MGM/UA) the half-alien femme fatale Sil (Natasha Henstridge) is a real quick learner. Without much help from anyone, she figures out how to drive a car and even how to give herself a makeover. The only thing that she fails to learn, it seems, is how to do her own stunts.
During a high-speed chase 75 minutes into the movie, Sil leaps out of her car as it races down a hillside toward an explosive collision. Slowed down, however, the shot of Henstridge exiting the vehicle reveals a stuntman at the steering wheel pushing what looks like a dummy out the door. Evidently, even extraterrestrial killers know when to delegate.
