This dance diva's sophomore effort searches in vain for a personality; six different producers fail to deliver a song with the sassy finesse of her 1991 hit, ''Finally.'' The album's low points occur on its ballads, when Peniston serves up lyrical corn and vocal ham. Her LaBelle-influenced stylings are more appealing when they soar over the percolating dancehall of ''Through Those Doors.''
