To promote its current film Reality Bites as an epic for the slacker generation, Universal touts cameo appearances by ''such twentysomething icons as MTV VJ Karen 'Duff' Duffy and Evan Dando of the Lemonheads'' in press releases. Problem is, the icons don't show up until the film's end credits.
