CHARLIE MUSSELWHITE In My Time...(Alligator) This disciple of Chicago blues- harp immortal Little Walter plays his tunes close to the vest, never straying far from the purist's path. Luckily he doesn't need to. Though Musselwhite may not be musically ambitious, his bands cut grooves wide enough to drive a Cadillac through. All things considered, complaining that Musselwhite's blues are too simple is like complaining that the sun's too bright. B -Bob Cannon
