Entombed Wolverine Blues (Earache/Columbia) Scandinavian death-metal band Entombed is unique among its ilk, most of whom insist on thrashing everything to a bloody pulp. By adopting a more deliberate, bass-heavy approach-think Danzig, not Slayer-Entombed carves out a satisfying ruckus. The band tears into songs like ''Hollowman'' with enough fervor to convince skeptics that death metal need not be embalmed quite yet. B -Tom Sinclair
