Fumbling Towards Ecstasy (1994)

Details Lead Performance: Sarah McLachlan

Despite the title, there's absolutely no fumbling on this fourth release from Canada's emergent folk/pop diva, whose timeless songs probe the deeper, darker aspects of the human condition with an honesty, patience, and wisdom way beyond her 26 years. Add her luscious, earthy voice to the moody, rhythmic music and the result is sublime.
