MICHAEL BOLTON'S WINNING SOFTBALL (1993, CMV, $19.98) Pseudo-soul singer Bolton would almost rather take an aluminum cut than make a platinum one. His passion for mashing softballs is on display here as he suits up for the Bolton Bombers, his barnstorming team of musicians, roadies, and ringers. Footage of Bolton singing, as well as swinging, is spliced with such tepid tips as ''Think positive.'' Bolton's softball fever is genuine, but his batting stroke evokes his music: high pop.
