The Fireman strawberries oceans ships forest (Capitol) Always willing to exploit a trend, the ever-facile Paul McCartney (with a producer named Youth) goes techno under a cutesy pseudonym. Macca has a feel for the genre's basics- the vacuum-cleaner-on-acid drone, Ping-Pongy bass lines, the occasional disembodied screech-but the music lacks the warp-speed intensity and surge of the real stuff. Leave it to McCartney to devise the first techno for elevators. C+ -DB
