The soundtrack to this tragically jinxed Brandon Lee vehicle works best when it's not so morose and overreaching. On The Crow, Nine Inch Nails' pop rant has an appropriate comic-book urgency, as do Pantera's speed-metal ditty and My Life With the Thrill Kill Kult's punchy sample collage. Rage Against the Machine, Rollins Band, and Helmet huff and puff intensely but to little effect, and Jane Siberry's tender ruminations seem lost. B
