Eric Nies

MTV experience: A roomie on the Real World docu-series ("I was the most likable one on the show," Nies boasts); faux-homeboy host of the disco-jiggle show The Grind. Acting credits: A one-line role in the Harlem b-ball drama Above the Rim ("They wanted to draw a white crowd, so they brought me in," he says). Bottom line: His dramatic skills are inversely proportional to the size of his ego.

Martha Quinn

MTV experience: One of the original veejays; later rehired and refired. Acting credits: Her own perky self in Eddie and the Cruisers IIand A Spinal Tap Reunion; plucky bride of paraplegic ex-race-car driver Bobby Brady in CBS' Bradys revival; a man-hungry neighbor in Problem Child 2. Bottom line: She may have finally found her true calling — appearing with prehistoric Monkee Davy Jones in a "Sounds of the '60s" infomercial.
