Threesome (1994)

EW's GRADE
B-

Details Lead Performance: Various Artists; Genre: Soundtracks

The heartiest ingredients of the Threesome album—which is about as satisfying as a packet of soup—is U2's version of Patti Smith's ''Dancing Barefoot,'' while Teenage Fanclub's remake of ''Like a Virgin'' and a dense ballad by Pearl Jam offshoot Brad pepper the mix. Unfortunately, tunes by Tears for Fears and Duran Duran dilute the overall flavor. Threesome will quell dorm dwellers' pangs just long enough for the pizza to arrive.
