On his ninth album with the Bad Seeds, the brooding Australian spins affecting tales of love lost (''Ain't Gonna Rain Anymore'') and unrequited (''Do You Love Me?'') with a haunting passion and flair. It's not all love and games for the morose one who spews raw meat on the louder and faster ''Jangling Jack.'' But it's his heartfelt laments that make Let Love In so compelling. B
