Now that Sharon Stone is a star, all her forgotten movies are fair game for video revival. But beware of this swoony romance, Tears in the Rain, originally shown on British TV. Stone plays an incredibly dense naif who arrives in London to deliver her mother's deathbed letter to an English lord. While flashbacks reveal Mom's secret wartime love affair, our heroine falls in love with the lord's son (Cazenove). They're in for shock after shock as the story of their parents' past keeps spilling way over the top. As for unsuspecting viewers who stumble upon this tape, the only shock will be how laughably bad it is.
