Murder So Sweet? Murder So Sleepy is more like it. Harry Hamlin plays a studly grease monkey with a trail of ex-wives already behind him when he decides to start offing his more recent spouses. Helen Shaver is the ex who brings him to justice. The main points of interest here are Hamlin's mannerisms and appearance, which bring to mind those of John Mellencamp. Based on a real-life case, which just goes to prove that truth is sometimes duller than fiction.
