Retreat From Memphis

EW's GRADE
B+

Details Genre: Rock

Somehow undaunted by 17 years of near-anonymity, these punk-inspired warhorses continue to turn out spirited, plangent rock & roll. Though melodically and lyrically denser than most of their past releases, the latest missive, Retreat from Memphis, finds them, as usual, gleefully musing in their wry, existential style on matters ranging from amorous entanglements to global upheaval.
