Return To Two Moon Junction (1993)

Sometimes, Huey Lewis once observed, bad is bad, and he might as well have been thinking of Return to Two Moon Junction, the ponderous sequel to the 1988 soft-core video hit. Louise Fletcher is back as a Southern matron saddled with lines like ''I'll take my brandy on the veranda.'' But the rest of the original's quirky cast — Burl Ives, Herve Villechaize, Sherilyn Fenn — are MIA. Save for an amusing drag cameo by Matt Frewer (Max Headroom) as a fashion designer with a thing for Velcro, there's nothing to hold interest. In fact, you'll probably want to hit the stop button the minute you hear the fake Hendrix and Cher songs on the soundtrack.
