She's wholesome to the bland core as a housewife who still has the hots for her hunky high school sweetheart (Ken Wahl) and persuades her best friend (Elizabeth McGovern) to sleep with him-a situation that provokes more yawns than yuks in The Favor. As McGovern's doting artist boyfriend, Brad Pitt proves he should never, ever be asked to wear a pair of glasses. D+
