Even if you're not a map freak, you have to love a CD-ROM that opens with a screen of the entire U.S. and lets you zoom all the way down to your block. On Street Atlas USA the close-up grids themselves are rudimentary, and once you get over the thrill of looking up your childhood neighborhood (and doing the same for your astonished friends), you may be pressed as to how you'll use this information (hint: wedding directions). But for visceral, oh-wow impact, this is one of the best discs yet. A
