Lead Performance: Van Morrison
--
Opening with ''Did Ye Get Healed,'' this two-disc live set testifies to music's transformative powers. The once shy and eccentric performer has become a consummate stylist, leading an eight-piece band through R&B classics (Van Morrison-penned and covers) and holding his own with guests John Lee Hooker, Jimmy Witherspoon, and Junior Wells on his album, A Night in San Francisco. Gone, however, is the fragile poet, sinking the album into a Commitments-like reverential revue. B
