Tish Hinojosa's sixth album is another exotic blend of Tex-Mex, folk, and country, with her sensual soprano adding depth to everything she touches. Once again, she easily changes hats, from the lushly romantic ''Noche Sin Estrellas'' (''Night Without Stars''), to the pulsating ''Yesterday's Paper.'' Although some of her attempts at mainstream country fall flat on Destiny's Gate, the exuberant rockabilly of ''I'm Not Through Loving You Yet'' sounds like the hit Carlene Carter let get away. B+
