Suburbia Or: Reality Really Bites. The furious, angst-filled, and forgettable writing of Eric Bogosian is outdone by the edgy, honest acting of Steve Zahn, Josh Hamilton, and Tim Guinee as wayward twentysomethings (them, again?) guzzling beer and wasting away in a 7-Eleven parking lot. B

Three Tall Women Playwright Edward Albee makes a horns-and-trumpets return to critical and commercial success with this Pulitzer Prize-winning play. From her deathbed, a dowager recalls her youth, dissecting her life for the benefit of her young and middle-aged selves. Albee enriches, enlightens, inspires, and entertains. A+
