The Iguanas, a hot New Orleans band, scored last time out with a smart set of Tex-Mex-cum- R&B dance tunes that sounded like a Big Easy wedding reception of a mixed marriage. So does this album, Nuevo Bugaloo — except the spirits are winding down by now. The Iguanas prove most interesting when probing the darker side of human nature, the liquor-store robbery of "Boom, Boom, Boom" and the eerie eroticism of "As We Kiss Goodnight." B-
