What begins as a fairly serious-minded tale of a charming con man who preys on lovelorn single women, soon loses credibility around the time a foxy shrink (Michele Brin) makes the observation that our slimy antihero (Gary Hudson) has "begun displaying misogynist views towards women." As opposed to misogynist views towards, say, soft-shell crabs. Sexual Intent then devolves into a loopy revenge thriller, capped by a crashing denouement that strains credulity in a way that's frankly delightful. C-
