Listening to the album !Simpatico! is like eating ice cream when you have a head cold. D.C.'s Velocity Girl has a reputation for sweet, rich concoctions, but this scoop of songs doesn't taste like much of anything. Pleasant to the point of blandness, !Simpatico! is like a grungy Cranberries — without the hits. C
