As CIA man Shane Royce, James Belushi cracks wise, ogles gorgeous women, plays poker with little kids, and flirts with his ex-wife (Chelsea Field) all without much success. But when renegade colleagues hijack five nuclear warheads, it's Royce to the rescue. Belushi has a knack for performing derring-do as if it really were difficult, and that gives the action a decidedly different spin. But deep down, this scenario lacks freshness. Royce is yet another Showtime ''original'' that's anything but.
