This political correctness is really getting on my nerves. EW could do better than to perpetuate the kind of hypersensitive nit-picking Carolyn Newberger espoused. Movies are for entertainment and escapism-not deep social content. The American public has more gray matter than all these PC-mongers give us credit for, and I expect better from my favorite magazine. Roxanne Caldwell Brooklyn

I think it's a silly waste of time to dig through an animated film such as The Lion King looking for hidden images. Doesn't a Harvard psychologist have anything more sensible to do with her time? David Pitt Halifax, Nova Scotia

Corrections: In 1965's The Loved One, Ayllene Gibbons' son was played by Rod Steiger-not Robert Steiger, as we wrote. In Benny & Joon, the role of Benny was played by Aidan Quinn, not Johnny Depp. Depp played the role of Sam, who falls in love with Benny's sister, Joon. We regret the errors.
