As Thorne on The Bold and the Beautiful, Jeff Trachta is often the latter but seldom the former. His character is so stolid he could be named Brick. ''I think Thorne's smiled twice in five years,'' says the actor, laughing. To display more of his talents, Trachta, 33, cowrote and starred in Agency, a one-man show that has been playing to SRO crowds in L.A. The show, about a Hollywood talent firm, features Trachta singing (he has a hit album in Holland), joking, and doing impressions of such people as Charles Nelson Reilly. Trachta's versatility comes as no surprise to his B&B coworkers. ''I'm always making people laugh in the makeup room,'' he says. Thanks to Agency, Trachta is now developing a sitcom with Castle Rock. Meanwhile, he'll continue to play Thorne-and try to suppress a broad grin.
