Joy Lynn White Wild Love (Columbia) Since her first album in 1992, White has picked up two assets-a middle name, and a surer musical identity. With her right foot planted in honky-tonk (''Tonight the Heartache's on Me'') and her left in backwoods folk (think of a spunkier, more mainstream Iris DeMent), White also trails a hand in gutsy Southern rock. What ties it all together is stunning emotional believability, and a force field soprano that trembles with brimstone fervor. B+ --Alanna Nash
