The most underrated pop band of the '70s cleans out its crypt for this companion piece to the recent Kiss tribute album. Comprising copious vintage performance clips and television appearances of often dodgy quality (not to mention riotous commercials for such effluvia as Kiss dolls and Kiss My Face makeup kits), the tape doesn't offer much from the band's lackluster postmasquerade days, and that's just fine. Fans of the CD will be disappointed to learn that the closest this compilation comes to the album's covers concept is in brief, who- cares footage of the Gin Blossoms and Anthrax in the recording studio. But then, it's impossible to improve upon the originals anyway.
