On the tour you get Crete, Petra, Pompeii, and Teotihuacan, all bustling cultural capitals in their time. And with beautifully illustrated maps, an evocative soundtrack, and crisp photos of ruins, you really see what made them thrive. Two slight flaws: Historical overviews are a tad texty and the narration a bit dry. I guess even interactivity can't make history completely sexy. A- --CN
