DigitalNation

digitalNATION (Computer Services Group, first 30 minutes per day free, 703-642-0453) If on-line services like America Online and Prodigy are bustling metropolises, digitalNATION is the quaint and safe haven of suburbia. This well-organized BBS offers up the info and icons (courtesy of an optional $7.95 disc) you'll find on other services without all the frustrating traffic. Whether you're downloading files, sending E-mail on the Internet, or just hanging out in its folksy chat groups-where you can discuss anything from pro football to home-brewing recipes-dN is a breath of fresh air. Which, after all, is why people move to the suburbs in the first place. B+-Chris Nashawaty
