Vid Grid (Geffen and Jasmine Multimedia, CD-ROM for PC/ Windows, $34.95) Geffen's much-hyped first foray into multimedia is really little more than a game of scrambled squares, but since the pieces are made from music videos, and they're moving, things get thorny pretty quickly. Vid Grid definitely tests your hand-eye coordination, but you'll probably soon tire of the nine jigsawed clips (from such rock acts as Aerosmith and Soundgarden). Even if the mixed visuals sometimes exude a weird appeal, this is piffleware. C+ -TB
