On the East Coast she plays attorney Nora Gannon on ABC's One Life to Live. On the West Coast she now stars as Gene Wilder's wife on the new NBC sitcom Something Wilder. So how will Hillary B. Smith hold down the two roles at & once? ''With lots of frequent-flier miles,'' she says. ''Buy Continental stock right now, you'll get a nice boost.'' Fortunately Nora ''is off investigating a case'' for a while, but the actress has worked out a five-year schedule integrating both jobs, assuming Wilder is a hit. As this year's daytime Emmy winner for best actress, Smith has a point to prove: ''Acting is acting. I want to help break down the stigma of soaps. I've done daytime and prime time and I know which one is harder.''
