On-line Subscription Service Review: 'ROCKNET'

Not all die-hard rock fans are drooling shut-ins clinging to the belief that vinyl still rules. In fact, ROCKNET is living proof that some music junkies are wired and on-line. For the techno-literate, it's is an up-to-the-minute rock ; & roll newswire, chat room, and rumor mill all rolled into one — it's also one of the real highlights of CompuServe, an otherwise staid network. Its grassroots, anyone-can-submit format is also a nice reprieve from the know-it- all babble of most fanzines. The only downer is its wealth of Country Joe & the Fish reunion info. A-
